Joint Installation Ceremony of three Lions Clubs in District 4-C3

Three prominent Lions Clubs of District 4-C3, namely the Lions Club of Berkeley Annapurna, Fremont Sagarmatha, and Berkeley Makalu, are all set to host their much-anticipated Joint Installation Ceremony. The event will take place on August 27th at the North Berkeley Senior Center, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 9:00 PM.

As per tradition, these three clubs have joined forces to install their new club officers for the upcoming term. Moreover, the ceremony aims to appreciate and felicitate the outgoing officers and Presidents of all three clubs, acknowledging their outstanding contributions and leadership.

Lion Laxmi Chaudhary, the Second Vice District Governor and a past president of the Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club, has confirmed that all the venue and logistical arrangements have been finalized for the occasion. Likewise, Manohara Thapa Bogoti, the Charter President of Berkeley Makalu Lions Club, has been re-elected as the club’s President, marking a significant milestone for the club.

The event promises to be filled with excitement, as newly elected Presidents and their teams will be recognized and receive special appreciation. They will also announce upcoming services, demonstrating their commitment to community engagement and service.

For those interested in attending the ceremony, the registration fee is $35, which includes a Special Nepali Dinner followed by soft drinks. The evening will be graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including PCC Dennis J Grotrian. Additionally, the Keynote Speaker for the event will be PDG Rajen Thapa, while the Installation Officer will be District Governor Manil Babu Shrestha.

Incoming Club Secretary Namrata Dahal expressed immense pride in seeing their Club’s Past President assume the role of District Governor. The organizers are excited to welcome both the District Governor and Second Vice District Governor from the same club to the event, adding a sense of unity and camaraderie among Lions members.
